Carol Nie joined the Spur Community Foundation board in 2016. Since then, she has served as President of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Grants Committee. As a dedicated member of the Wood River Valley Community, she was a founding member of the Wood River Women’s Foundation and the Board Chair of the Sun Valley Music Festival where she was instrumental in the development and building of the Sun Valley Pavilion and founded the Festival’s year round Music Institute. She currently is a board member of Opera Idaho, Advisory Board Member of the Sun Valley Museum of Art and a board member of the Idaho chapter of the International Women’s Forum. Carol has two daughters and two granddaughters and received her BA from Washington University in St. Louis and her MBA from the Booth Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago
