Magnify Your Impact

Current Funds

Spur maintains a portfolio of area-specific funds comprising categories of local nonprofit missions. Donors give to the Fund(s) that align with their interests. These gifts are pooled with other donations, magnifying their impact, and then granted collectively based on applications received and Spur’s knowledge of local needs and opportunities.

Greenhorn Fire Station Housing Fund

Your donation to this fund supports the creation of 8 units of single-family housing for emergency responders at the Greenhorn Fire Station located mid-valley. The North Blaine County Fire District in partnership with the City of Sun Valley has undertaken this project to attract and retain fire fighters and paramedics and to ensure rapid response times that will save lives and homes. Pass-Through Fund

Spur maintains a fund that accepts donations restricted for immediate distribution to specific local programs and organizations.

Donors who utilize this fund typically want Spur’s ideas and administrative support, do not need to hold philanthropic capital for any length of time, and prefer a degree of anonymity or a buffer between them and the grant recipients. Contact us to learn more about this option.

Early Learning & Childcare

In late August of this year, Spur helped to raise $100,000 to enable an Infant Care Center to open at the Big Wood Presbyterian Church in Ketchum. The new center will expand the quality care program already offered at the Church to include children 0- to 18-months old.

Donations to this fund continue to support growing daycare in the valley, as well as early learning programs.
